Overview
One of America's largest retailers is seeking a Director of Salesforce to join their growing company! The Director of Salesforce will spearhead high-performing Salesforce teams in a dynamic environment, driving organizational success through innovative solutions and strategic leadership. This pivotal role involves cross-departmental collaboration to integrate various systems and technologies, ensuring the successful deployment of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic vision to effectively manage and execute initiatives using Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. Note: This position allows fully remote working or being based in Chicago, Illinois.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a dynamic Salesforce team, overseeing the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Salesforce modules, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Develop and execute a comprehensive Salesforce strategy aligned with the organization's long-term business objectives
Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce administrators, developers, and analysts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Salesforce strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies and their potential organizational benefits
Liaise with Salesforce and third-party vendors to ensure service levels are met and issues are resolved
Evaluate and implement best practices, tools, and technologies to advance Salesforce capabilities and drive innovation
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce, with a focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud,and Commerce Cloud.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing Salesforce teams in complex, enterprise-level environments
Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, with the ability to architect and implement scalable solutions.
Extensive knowledge of Salesforce products, integrations, and customization capabilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives, manage resources effectively, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or Salesforce certifications are a plus
