A top-tier Republican consulting firm in Houston is looking for a Fundraising Assistant to join its growing team. As headhunters, we’re looking for someone who brings sharp instincts, a strong work ethic, and an eye for detail. You’ll play a vital role supporting the fundraising team—from tracking donations to helping execute donor events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor databases and records.
• Track contributions, pledges, and follow-up tasks across multiple campaigns.
• Assist in planning and executing fundraising events, from invites to post-event thank-you notes.
• Draft donor communications, including acknowledgment letters and follow-up outreach.
• Conduct research on donor prospects, PACs, and bundling opportunities.
• Support day-to-day fundraising operations for senior consultants and campaign clients.
• Help prepare materials for fundraising meetings, call time, and donor briefings.
• Ensure accurate and confidential handling of sensitive financial and donor data.

Ideal Candidate:

• Based in Houston or willing to relocate in the immediate future.
• Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, responsive, and eager to take initiative without being asked.
• Comfortable with CRM tools, Excel, or fundraising databases (experience with NGP is a plus).
• Fundraising experience is preferred, but attitude and reliability matter most.
• Able to work occasional evenings/weekends tied to campaign events or deadlines.

Compensation:

• Salary: 50-60k
