Job Description: Janitor Location: Manchester, MO Pay Rate: 16/hr Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of both internal and external facility grounds at all times. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning tasks in accordance with the master sanitation schedule. Operate various cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers and aerial man lifts. Adhere to safety protocols and immediately report any incidents or accidents to the production supervisor. Operate a stand-up forklift and obtain necessary certification. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Execute daily and scheduled cleaning tasks to ensure a sanitary work environment. Continuously seek improvements in processes to reduce overall costs. Communicate all relevant information to the shift supervisor. Perform additional duties as assigned by the production supervisor or management. Job Specifications High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred. Ability to work with minimal supervision. In-depth understanding and practical experience in production and manufacturing operations is preferred. Must pass a drug screening and a criminal background check for felonies or open cases. Capability to apply common sense in problem-solving situations with limited standardization. Work Conditions Ability to maintain concentrated attention to detail for prolonged periods. Physically demanding work may require standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for shifts of eight or more hours. Regularly required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects weighing up to 500 pounds. Use of tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity may be necessary. Requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment abilities. Work area is not climate-controlled, with temperatures ranging from 20°F to 115°F. Environment may be dusty and dirty, with fast-paced work demands that can change based on customer requirements.
