The Magnolia is seeking a Parking Lot Attendant who will be responsible for parking vehicles or issuing tickets for guests in a parking lot area. May handle cash and collect payment for parking fee. Responsibilities include taking numbered tags from guests, locating vehicles, delivering vehicles, or providing guests with instructions for locating vehicles; keeping parking areas clean and orderly to maximize space usage; directing motorists to parking areas or spaces using hand signals or flashlights; patrolling parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and theft; greeting guests and opening car doors; calculating parking charges and collecting fees; issuing ticket stubs or placing numbered tags on windshields and giving guests matching tags; lifting, positioning, and removing barricades to open or close parking areas; inspecting vehicles for damage; participating in the venue’s sustainability program including sorting waste and collecting recycling; partnering with band members at the end of shows to close the venue, which may include collecting recyclables and storing event equipment; and other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor. The role requires one-year previous guest service experience preferred, excellent communication skills, constant walking and occasional sitting, well-groomed appearance, and a high school diploma/GED preferred.
