Your Role as a Reading Teacher - Student Support: Provide reading instruction to elementary and secondary students, including both special and general education populations identified as struggling readers.
- Special Education Services: Deliver required reading support aligned with IEP goals and maintain compliance with all special education requirements.
- Targeted Interventions: Implement Tier 2 and Tier 3 reading interventions for students with significant reading deficits.
- Skill Development: Work to increase reading proficiency through focused instruction tailored to individual student needs.
- Confidentiality Compliance: Uphold all confidentiality standards in accordance with agency policies, FERPA, HIPAA, and counselor-student privacy regulations.
Required Qualifications - All New Story School/River Rock Academy teachers must have their PA license in place by August 1, 2025.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
