Senior Paralegal – Litigation
We are seeking a Senior Paralegal to join the Corporate Legal Litigation and Employment group in Burbank, California. This position assists in-house attorneys and outside counsel with all facets of case preparation and in a variety of litigation matters including, intellectual property, employment, personal injury, and other business matters.
What You Will Do:
Provide support for litigation and employment matters.
Assist with document collection from various business units.
Review and analysis of documents using an electronic discovery database.
Prepare responses and reports related to claims, demand letters, and litigation requests.
Review pleadings, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.
Assist with witness interviews and depositions.
Assist with responding to subpoenas.
Assist with small claims matters and wage claims.
Review and respond to unsolicited idea submissions.
Draft and issue legal holds.
Manage and report information across a variety of matters.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
At least 3 years of litigation experience in a reputable law firm or major in-house legal department.
Ability to handle multiple cases and responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to conduct legal and factual research.
Experience in document collection and electronic discovery.
Experience in fact-finding, reporting, and document management.
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and judgment, both verbally and in writing.
Required Education :
A Bachelor’s Degree and/or qualifications to be a paralegal by certification or education and work experience as set forth by the American Bar Association and any applicable state codes.
