Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Location: Fayetteville, NC 28304

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,460.00 Per Week 
On W2(Taxable): $1,116.00 Per Week 
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,344.00 Per Week 

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cath Lab team . This position requires a self-motivated and compassionate RN with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. As part of our Cath Lab unit , you will be responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a specialized, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring safe and effective treatments.
• Monitoring & Observation: Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs, prepare equipment, and assist the cath lab team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on pre-procedure and post-procedure care instructions, including lifestyle changes, medication adherence, and rehabilitation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient information and interventions using Epic charting system.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to act in emergency situations, applying critical thinking skills and following appropriate clinical protocols.
• On-Call and Weekend Coverage: Participate in required on-call rotations and weekend shifts as needed.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control standards, hospital policies, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or equivalent clinical setting.
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (Compact State License NOT accepted).
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• EPIC Experience: Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Skills: Strong clinical skills in cardiac care, critical thinking, and patient monitoring.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients when required, and assist in transferring patients in and out of the catheterization lab.
